In the entryway to the Hiiragiya Ryokan, one can find the inn's motto, "Coming here is like coming home" displayed prominently for all guests to see.
Each visit to Hiiragiya is a delightfully new experience. Every room is individually designed and great pains are taken to ensure you are not served the same meal twice, unless you should request otherwise.

Hiiragiya serves only the finest quality Kyoto-style Kaiseki cuisine, carefully prepared with the freshest seasonal ingredients, and elegantly presented on handcrafted Kiyomizu ceramics and the finest lacquer ware.
A variety of Kyoto specialties are also available a la carte in season.
Accommodations:
Japanese-style rooms, exquisitely and individually decorated. Most rooms enjoy a garden view and en suite Japanese wood baths of aromatic fir. An architecturally unified new wing opened in 2006.

The finest quality Kaiseki cuisine, prepared with finesse using the season's freshest ingredients is served on elegant lacquer ware and Kyoto-crafted ceramics.
Dinner and breakfast are served in your room at your request (dinner from 6:00 - 7:30 pm, breakfast from 7:00 - 9:00 am).
Kaiseki dining is available from \16,500 (incl. service). Seasonal Kyoto specialties are also available a la carte.
