On this trip, you will journey to the sites of the seven deities of good luck. If you visit every one every 2 days, you may be guaranteed the best possible luck for the coming year! However, if you don't have time to visit all the sites, you can simply choose a single shrine to visit

1. Sekizanzen-in Temple → 10:00 - 11:00
This site enshrines "Fukurokuju", the god of happiness, luck, and longevity. This temple was placed in the historically unlucky northeast direction of Kyoto and has many strong qualities to ward off evil.

2. Myoen-ji Temple → 12:00-13:00
This temple enshrines the god "Daikokuten". Syosekizan Myoen-ji Temple is the full name of this site. The principle object at this shrine is the Daikokuten statue of Dengyo Daishi, which beautifully depicts the fortune and luck god.

3. Gyogan-ji Temple → 15:00-16:00
This ancient temple, located to the south of Kyoto Imperial Park, was founded by a holy priest named Gyoen. Priest Gyoen preferred to wear deerskin year round and was known as Priest "Deerskin". Similarly, this temple, which enshrines the god Juro-shin who is able grant longevity, came to be known as Deerskin Temple.

4. Ebisu-jinja Shrine → 10:00-10:30
This site enshrines the god Ebisu, who holds a fishing rod in his right hand and allows worshippers to achieve success in business. The Osaka Imamiya-jinja Shrine, the Nishinomiya Imamiya-jinja Shrine, and Kyoto's Ebisu-jinja Shrine are known the three main sites for worshipping the god Ebisu.

5. Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple → 10:45 - 11:30
Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple enshrines Benzaiten, the only female god of good fortune. This goddess has the ability to bring you good fortune and improve your ability with handicrafts.

Manpuku-ji Temple was built in 1654 by a Chinese monk revered by the shogun and head priests of the time. In 1661, the temple became a representative Zen temple and one of Japan's three most famous Zen temples.
