Kyoto Handicraft Center is dedicated to presenting the best of Kyoto's traditional handicrafts and art. You can enjoy the demonstrations of woodblock carving and prints, damascene making, Japanese doll making for free.
There is also a duty-free shop with a wide variety of elegant traditional artwork such as painted screens, lacquer ware, cloisonne, pottery and porcelain, swords, textiles, kimono, etc. The staff speaks English and foreign currency, traveler's checks, and major credit cards are accepted to make your shopping even more comfortable.
You can also try one of the 10 hands-on handicraft activities. It will be an unforgettable experience. You'll enjoy making your own traditional gifts and souvenirs while experiencing a wonderful cultural experience.
