Nissho-besso 【Central Area】

Ryokan Nissho-besso is a large wooden building dating from the Edo Period. You can sense the atmosphere of old Kyoto in this historical building. There is a large Japanese garden and breakfast can be enjoyed while overlooking the garden.
This quiet, Japanese-style inn, situated right in the city center, was first built in the Momoyama Period (1558 to 1600) as a mansion for a wealthy merchant. It was then renovated and became an inn in 1788 before being remodeled into its present incarnation in 1993. Here you will get a taste of the spirit of Japan. English-speaking staff available.
