Touki-ichi
At the Touki-ichi (pottery fair) held every August, lovers of Japanese pottery and ceramics will find a wide variety of goods for sale.
Stalls along Gojo-dori Street, from Gojo-Ohashi to Gojo-zaka streets, offer ceramic and porcelain goods.
Those on the north side sell Kiyomizu-yaki (Kiyomizu Pottery) while those on the south side sell pottery made outside the city.
