KUROCHIKU
In Kyoto City, there are multiple branches of Kurochiku featuring traditional Japanese products. Popular items include products made of recycled materials where you can get a sense of Kyoto's history such as "Kimekomi-dolls" dressed in antique kimonos and handbags made from woven bamboo previously used for ceiling boards in traditional Japanese houses, etc. There are also products which give a sense of warmth such as tenugui towels using traditional Japanese patterns and handmade crepe work products.
