Okakita
Kyo-udon, or Kyoto-style udon noodles, are one of the traditional flavors of Kyoto. With a history that stretches back over the 70 years since its establishment, the time-honored udon restaurant 'Okakita' allows diners to enjoy traditional flavors that are meticulous in their use of dashi fish stock and ingredients.
This steaming hot udon served in a pot is the perfect dish for the cold winter days to come!
In addition to udon, 'Okakita' offers an extensive menu featuring dishes made from carefully selected ingredients unique to Kyoto, including don-mono (rice-bowl dishes), ankake (a thick starchy sauce), tamago toji (egg drop soup), nama-yuba (a dish made by boiling soy milk) and Kyoto vegetables.
