Kodai-ji Temple "Yobanashi" (Tea Ceremony at Night)

The famous temple of Kodai-ji Temple was built by Kita-no-Mandokoro (Nene), wife of the great 16th century leader, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, for his funeral. This is a rare opportunity for those who have never experienced the tea ceremony to casually participate in an authentic tea ceremony. You can enjoy the view of the illuminated garden and Tenshin (light meal) in addition to the tea ceremony. If you have an opportunity, the tea ceremony on winter nights illuminated by candles only is particularly enjoyable.
