Keihan Railway

The Keihan Railway gives convenient access to Fushimi (Fushimi-Inari Shrine) and Uji (Byodo-in Temple). It runs between Kyoto and Osaka.
 
The Keihan Railway is composed of the Keihan Main Line (Yodoyabashi Station to Sanjo Station), Oto Line (Sanjo Station to Demachiyanagi Station), Uji Line (Chushojima Station to Uji Station) and others. On the main line you can visit such famous spots as Tofuku-ji Temple, well known for its vibrant fall leaves, and Fushimi Inari Shrine, popular among tourists. On the Oto Line you can visit World Heritage Site, Shimogamo-jinja Shrine, and on the Uji Line you can visit Ujigami-jinja Temple and World Heritage Site, Byodo-in Temple.
 
If you are traveling from Kyoto Station to Shichijo Station, you can easily catch the cheap and convenient Keihan Shichijo-Kyoto Station Loop Bus.

Tickets&Fares

  • Fare depends on the length of the journey.
  • IC cards that can be used nationwide and the Kansai Area Pass (Area Limited) can be used on the Keihan Railway.
